Indri Trini The Three Wood Single Malt Whisky (75cl, 46%)

Indri Trini is an Indian single malt in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 92 proof. It is made from organically grown six-row barley native to Rajasthan, at a village distillery in the foothills of the Himalayas. The whisky is matured in three kinds of cask. Ex-bourbon wood adds vanilla and coconut, ex-wine wood a honeyed, peppery note, and Pedro Ximénez sherry wood a dark amber colour with sweet black currant character. The nose brings caramelised pineapple, vanilla, a hint of black tea, raisins, citrus and subtle nuttiness. On the palate there are vanilla, citrus peel, baked peach, hazelnut and cassis, and the finish is long, juicy and spicy.
