Amrut Fusion is an Indian single malt in a 750 ml bottle at 50% ABV. The mashbill is 75% unpeated Indian barley and 25% peated Scottish barley.
It is a blend of two four-year-old whiskies aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks.
The nose is thickly oaked, with barley-sugar notes under soft smoke. On the palate the smoke turns to warming peat alongside oaky vanilla, barley fruit and a rich chocolate fudge centre. The finish has dry peat and oak, molassed sweetness and a rise of spice.
