Islay Mist Peated Blend is a Scotch blended whisky made to a recipe that dates from 1927. Peat is the thread running through it, from the first smell to the last taste.
The nose combines smoky peat with seaweed. On the palate the peat carries on, softened by sweet malt, oak and a little maritime salt.
The finish is bittersweet, with hints of coffee and toffee.
