This is a ten-year-old single malt from Isle of Jura, the distillery on a small island off the west coast of Scotland. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is made with exceptionally tall stills and matured in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon. It then receives a finishing period in aged Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez in Spain.
It is typically described as sweet and smooth, with flavours of vanilla cream and rich dark chocolate.
