A 12-year-old single malt from the Isle of Jura distillery, part of its core range. Most of its maturation took place in American white oak casks, and it was then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. The whisky is golden in colour, with honey, brown sugar, salted banana and a little smoke in the flavour.
The nose is nutty barley, white wine, cinnamon and melon. On the palate come chocolate fondant, pear and peppery malt, and the finish brings lemon and sultanas.
