Isle of Jura Prophecy (70cl)

Isle of Jura Prophecy is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, one of the distillery's four mainstay expressions. Its label carries a hieroglyph-inspired eye. The name comes from an 18th century story of an old seer who was being evicted from her home by the Campbells, then dominant on Jura. She foretold that the last Campbell on the island would have one eye and carry his belongings in a cart drawn by a white horse. The prophecy is said to have come true in 1938, when Charles Campbell, blinded in one eye in World War I, left the island in that state.
