Jura 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky is matured for at least twelve years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. This double maturation gives layers of fruit and caramel with gentle smoky undertones.
Tasting notes describe honey, vanilla, dried fruit and light smoke on the nose. The palate brings caramel, raisins, citrus and spice, with subtle peat and toasted oak, and the finish is lingering, with gentle sweetness, spice and light smoke.
