Jura – 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Jura 10 Year Old is a single malt Scotch from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. The whisky is matured for at least ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The two cask types bring vanilla, caramel and dried fruit alongside a light smoky thread. Tasting notes describe vanilla, honey, citrus and light smoke on the nose. The palate offers caramel, orchard fruit, spice and toasted nuts with a little peat, and the finish is medium in length, with gentle sweetness, spice and a touch of smoke.
