Isle of Raasay Virgin Colombian Oak is a peated single malt from a single cask, bottled at 50.7% ABV at natural strength.
It opens a series of maturations looking at how different oak species shape the Isle of Raasay spirit. The whole maturation took place in a virgin cask of Colombian oak, Quercus humboldtii.
The spirit is described as shaped by flavours of vanilla and buttery caramel.
