J. Bally Ambre Rum (70cl)

An agricole rum from Martinique, carrying the AOC seal and made by J. Bally. It is distilled from fresh sugar cane juice rather than molasses, with fermentation closely controlled to preserve the natural aromas of the cane. The rum is aged in oak casks, taking on a delicate amber colour and a full, rounded flavour. On the palate it develops complex notes of caramel, vanilla and a light trace of exotic spices, with a long, persistently aromatic finish and a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. It can be enjoyed neat or in sophisticated cocktails.
