La 7 Vidas Reposado is a tequila made from blue agave in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico. The label carries the image of Alma Beltrán, a young woman who dreamed of becoming a mariachi, and the brand's artwork includes two original pieces by Milo Manara.
Bright gold in colour, it smells of freshly cooked agave from traditional stone ovens. On the palate the sweet, vegetal agave is joined by delicate touches of wood that never take over, followed by soft toasted notes and a gentle warmth.
There is an earthy side to the bouquet, and the finish is round and velvety, with the natural sweetness of ripe, juicy fruit.
