Jack Daniel's – Single Barrel Select 2011 (70cl, 45%)

This is the 2011 edition of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select, a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Tennessee whiskey is similar to straight bourbon, with the added step of filtering through maple wood charcoal, known as the Lincoln County Process. Jack Daniel's has always preferred the Tennessee name to the bourbon one. The distillery has been owned by Brown-Forman since the years after the second world war, and it still stands in a dry county.
