Jack Daniel's – x McLaren Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey (1L, 58.7%)

Halo MK1 is a limited edition Tennessee whiskey made by Jack Daniel's in collaboration with the McLaren Formula 1 Team, bottled at 58.7% in a one-litre bottle. It is charcoal mellowed and matured in barrels made from staves aged in the open air for an extended period, which softens the tannins and gives a deeper colour and a smoother caramel and chocolate palate. The strength is a tribute to McLaren's founder, Bruce McLaren, whose first Austin 7 race car was number 58. The nose offers sweet maple, fruit and toasted oak. The palate moves from caramel and chocolate to pipe tobacco and baking spice, and the finish carries barrel spice and brown sugar candy.
