This is a 15 year old single cask Macduff from the Highlands, bottled by Jack Wiebers Whisky World in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2018.
It is golden amber in colour, with a smooth, medium to full body.
The nose offers malty barley, toasted nuts, green apple, vanilla and gentle oak spice. On the palate are sweet cereal, orchard fruits, honey and toasted almonds with light oak spice. The finish is medium to long, with lingering maltiness, gentle warmth and subtle wood spice.
