This is a 14 year old Glen Elgin single malt from the independent bottler James Eadie. It was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 from a first-fill Marsala cask, giving 287 bottles at 53.1% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is fresh, tart and minty, with stronger notes of stewed plums, gingerbread and brandy. On the palate come berries, peaches and plums with pralines, sour cherries and brandy, plus a touch of citrus peel. The finish brings stewed fruit, sour cherries and lemon peel.
