This is a 14 year old Inchgower single malt bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie at a cask strength of 55.3%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured on the Speyside coast and then finished for over two years in a first-fill Amontillado sherry hogshead. The release comprises 322 bottles.
The nose offers dried fruit, roasted nuts and a saline edge. The palate is nutty, with dark berries and spiced oak around a fruit and malt core. The finish is long and structured, with dried apricot, toasted almond and soft sherry spice.
