A Tomatin single malt aged eight years, bottled by independent bottler James Eadie under the name 'The Beehive'. It was matured in first fill bourbon and re-charred hogsheads and is bottled at 46% ABV.
The nose is fresh and honeyed, with apple juice, beeswax, vanilla custard and buttered toast. On the palate come rhubarb, blackberry and malt loaf, with a waxy, mouth-coating texture and blueberry jam underneath. The finish brings white and milk chocolate, gooseberries and cream.
