A bottle of Jameson Irish whiskey in the larger 26 fl oz size. It is an Irish blend of pot still and grain whiskies, matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose has toasted oak, vanilla and caramel, with a little butter, mint, orange peel and Christmas cake spice. The palate is smooth, with toffee, caramel and vanilla, then nutmeg or ginger and hints of apple and pear. The finish is clean, with lingering sweetness and spice, a trace of oak and a gentle buttery note.
