Jim Beam Black Extra-Aged is a Kentucky bourbon, a special edition of the American Jim Beam bourbon, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for 6 years in lightly charred American oak casks, which give it a vanilla and oak character rounded out by caramel.
The colour is amber. The nose is fine, sweet and fruity, with a little smoke and oak. The palate is harmonious, with soft caramel, red berries and a touch of oak, and the finish is long, spicy and sweet.
