John Walker & Sons King George V Lunar New Year is a blended Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It is drawn from casks that include whisky from Port Ellen, a distillery that is now silent, alongside Speyside and Highland whiskies.
This edition comes in a limited-edition design by the fashion designer Angel Chen, created to mark the Lunar New Year.
The nose is sweet and smoky with orange, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate brings spice, dried fruit and vanilla, and the finish is long and coastal.
