This is Johnnie Walker Blue Label in a limited edition for Lunar New Year 2023, marking the Year of the Rabbit. It is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The edition is a collaboration with the fashion designer Angel Chen, whose contemporary artwork on the bottle and box takes its inspiration from the rabbit. The whisky inside is the standard Blue Label blend.
The nose brings smoke, oak, raisins and subtle spice. The palate shows layers of honey, dried fruit, dark chocolate and a touch of smoke, leading to a long, warming, smoky finish.
