Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is made from up to 29 malt and grain whiskies, each matured for at least 12 years in oak casks. Cardhu, Talisker, Caol Ila and Glenkinchie are among the malts in the blend.
Black Label belongs to the brand's colour-coded range and was designed to be richer and more complex than Red Label.
The nose offers dried fruit, light smoke, vanilla and oak. The palate is smooth, with malt sweetness, soft peat, toffee and spice. The finish is medium in length, with smoke, mild oak and a gentle warmth.
