Johnnie Walker Black Label is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies from different regions of Scotland, all matured for at least twelve years.
Malts from Cardhu, Caol Ila, Clynelish and Glenkinchie are among its central components. John Walker & Sons composes the blend.
The nose offers sweet fruit, vanilla and spice with caramel, dried fruit, toasted oak and light peat smoke, and a touch of dark chocolate. On the palate come malt, dried fruit, raisin, peppery spice and toffee apple, then melting caramel and vanilla. The finish is long and balanced, with malty sweetness, smoke, toffee and lingering pepper.
