Johnnie Walker Black Label Squid Game Edition (70cl, 40%)

A blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, this Black Label edition takes its inspiration from the Netflix series Squid Game. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, and the blend draws on whiskies aged for at least 12 years from across Scotland. The whisky is the familiar Black Label blend. What changes is the design, and each bottle is individually numbered between 001 and 456, a reference to the player numbers in the show. The nose offers dark fruits, caramelised sugar and toasted oak. On the palate come toffee, dried figs, vanilla, dark chocolate and a little spice, with a wisp of smoke. The finish is long and warming, with oak, cocoa and soft peat smoke.
