Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director's Cut Blade Runner 2049 is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 49% ABV. It is an edition of Johnnie Walker Black Label named for the film Blade Runner 2049.
The nose combines ripe red apple, pear, melon and dried fruit such as raisins and figs with creamy vanilla, toffee and marshmallow. Peat smoke sits alongside toasted oak, pepper and a hint of green tea.
On the palate it is oily, silky and dense, with caramel, dark chocolate, cocoa, dark fruit and dates, then black pepper, cinnamon and a touch of salt. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with salted caramel, oak tannins and soft ash.
