Johnnie Walker Black Ruby (70cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The blend includes whisky from Roseisle alongside components from bourbon casks and from red wine casks prepared with Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso. It is chill-filtered and has added colour. The blend pairs a dark fruit character with a restrained smoky note. On the nose, dark cherry jam comes with vanilla, caramel, pepper, tobacco and raisins. The palate is juicy and light, with figs, cherries and plums alongside chocolate and a little smoke, leading to a soft finish of dried fruit and smoke.
