Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was created in 1992 and is made from rare whiskies, among them Royal Lochnagar, with a high proportion of malt in the blend.
The nose is nutty and honeyed, with light smoke, dried fruit and oak. The palate is silky, with marzipan, toffee, dark chocolate and a hint of raisin. The finish is long, with ginger and sandalwood alongside a soft, almost liqueur-like sweetness.
