Johnnie Walker Blue Label (70cl)

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a blended Scotch whisky introduced in 1992 as the pinnacle of the brand's blending expertise. It brings together malt and grain whiskies, including some from closed "ghost" distilleries, all matured in oak casks. The blend was designed in honour of John Walker, who began blending in 1820, and to echo the character of early nineteenth-century Scotch. It is described as rich and smooth, with a refined smokiness. The nose has dry smoke, cedar, raisin, fig, honey and polished leather. The palate is velvety, with mellow spice, dark caramel, toasted nuts and a little peat smoke. The finish is long and warm, with dark chocolate and malt.
