This is Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV, with a bottle designed by Tom Dixon.
The nose is mature and rounded, opening with heather honey, dried fruit and raisins, then citrus, cedar wood and a soft, dry smoke. The palate is very smooth and silky, with toasted hazelnuts, honey, dark chocolate and sherry, followed by ginger, sandalwood and a little candied orange.
The finish is very long, with aromatic smoke, pepper and light tannins from the oak.
