Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami (75cl)

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It was created by Master Blender Emma Walker together with chef Kei Kobayashi, who set out to capture the taste of umami in a whisky. The casks come from both inland and coastal distilleries and are chosen at the height of their maturation for their umami character. Only one cask in 25,000 is said to show it. The notes describe a balance of sweet and savoury, with blood oranges, red berries and sweet wood spice, a touch of smoked meat, and a hint of salt and pepper. The finish is long, sweet and fruity.
