Johnnie Walker Blue Label (mid 1990s) (75cl, 40%)

A bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label from the mid to late 1990s, distilled, blended and bottled by John Walker & Son Ltd at Kilmarnock. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle and comes in a bespoke leather presentation case. The brand began as Johnnie Walker Oldest in 1992 and was renamed Blue Label in 1994. It was first bottled at 43%, then moved to 40% later in the 1990s. Johnnie Walker later ceased bottling at Kilmarnock, and the plant closed in 2012.
