Johnnie Walker Double Black (70cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered, with colouring added. Smoky whiskies from Scotland's west coast are married with whiskies matured in heavily charred oak casks, giving the blend a full-bodied, smoke-led style. It takes Black Label in a darker, smokier direction while staying soft on the palate. The nose opens with sweet smoke and clove. On the palate, peat smoke runs through raisins and sultanas, with apple, pear and orange zest for freshness and creamy vanilla and spice. The long, warming finish joins smouldering oak spice with lasting smoke.
