Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky without an age statement. It was introduced in 2012 and is built around Clynelish single malt, joined by more than fifteen other malt and grain whiskies from Speyside, the Highlands and the Lowlands.
The blend is matured in oak casks. It is described as rounded and smooth, with a slight sweetness.
In the glass, the nose brings honey, light fruit, faint floral notes and creamy vanilla. The palate is smooth, with malt, light spice and orchard fruit. The finish is of medium length, with soft oak and a mellow warmth.
