Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky made from whiskies chosen for their sweet, honeyed qualities. It was created to celebrate the art of blending. Johnnie Walker itself was founded in 1820 by John Walker in Kilmarnock. The palate shows smooth caramel fudge and butterscotch, with a waxy character and honey and vanilla arriving in waves. The finish is heavier, with sticky fruits and faint wood smoke.
