Old Harmony is a blended Scotch whisky from John Walker & Sons of Kilmarnock, in a 75cl bottle from the 1980s at 43%.
The nose is rich in honey, vanilla, banana, tropical fruit and caramel, with light herbal notes, heather and a touch of sea air. The palate is full and rich, with malt, honey, orange peel, hazelnut and coconut oil, followed by oak, pepper, dark chocolate and a very gentle peat smoke. The finish is long, keeping the honeyed sweetness before closing on walnut, sourdough and a slightly resinous feel.
