Johnnie Walker Private Collection 2016 Edition Fine Honeyed Notes

Johnnie Walker Private Collection 2016 Edition, named Fine Honeyed Notes, is the third release in the Private Collection series from John Walker & Sons, created by Master Blender Dr Jim Beveridge. Following the smoky 2014 edition and the fruit-led 2015 release, it explores the honeyed side of grain whisky. The blend draws on more than 100 casks. Single grain whisky from Cameronbridge sits at its centre, with reserves from the silent grain distilleries Caledonian, Cambus, Carsebridge and Port Dundas, married with selected Highland single malts. Only 8,888 individually numbered crystal-style decanters were produced. The character rests on honey sweetness, soft fruit, a creamy texture and gentle oak.
