A bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label, a blended Scotch whisky thought to have been bottled in the 1970s for the Japanese market. It comes in a 76cl bottle at 43% ABV, a little higher than the 40% of the modern Red Label. Bottled before the whisky loch led many Scottish distilleries to close, it most likely contains whisky from distilleries that have since shut. The label shows the colour Striding Man, a Victorian-style figure in a bright red coat, top hat and boots, outlined in gold or yellow against the red background.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
