Blended Whisky
Bottle Size
175cl
A blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, in the Red Label expression, bottled in the 1970s in a large 1.75 litre format. John Walker & Sons of Kilmarnock is named as the bottler. The nose is rich with caramel, brown sugar and butter, alongside green apple, peach and mandarin peel, with hints of sherry oak, leather and sweet smoke. The texture is oily, and the palate opens on toffee and roasted chestnuts before winter spices and cinnamon arrive. The finish is medium to long, with the smoke of a dying bonfire, tannic oak and a faint salty note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
