Johnnie Walker Red Label is a blended Scotch whisky in a 200ml bottle, bottled at 40% ABV.
It is assembled from up to 35 Scotch whiskies. Cardhu, Caol Ila and Teaninich are among the single malts, and much of the grain whisky comes from Cameronbridge in Fife. Lighter East Coast whiskies are paired with peatier West Coast malts.
The nose brings citrus zest, cinnamon and a faint trace of peat smoke over honey and green apple. On the palate come apple, pepper and sweet malt, then pear and salty smoke. The finish is relatively short, with smoke, a pinch of salt and a little spice.
