Johnnie Walker Swing is a blended Scotch whisky from John Walker & Sons, in a 1960s edition. It comes in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV.
The nose is intense and sweet, with butterscotch, vanilla, sponge cake and marshmallow, alongside dark sherried fruit, old leather and a persistent but elegant trace of peat smoke. The palate starts smooth and oily, with malted barley, wild honey and candied orange, then turns spicier with pepper and ginger and a stronger bonfire smokiness.
The finish is long, warm and rich, ending dry and woody with clay, clove and smoke.
