Johnnie Walker Swing – 1960s

Johnnie Walker Swing is a blended Scotch whisky from John Walker & Sons, in a 1960s edition. It was distilled and bottled in Scotland. The nose is sweet and intense, with butterscotch, vanilla, sponge cake and marshmallow, backed by sherried raisins, old leather and a gentle thread of peat smoke. On the palate it is smooth and oily, with malted barley, wild honey and candied orange before pepper, ginger and a stronger peat and bonfire smoke come through. The finish is long, warm and dry, with old oak, clay, clove and smoke.
