Johnnie Walker Ultimate 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky aged for at least 18 years in oak casks, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It was launched in 2017 and was previously known as Johnnie Walker Platinum Label.
It joins the full flavours Johnnie Walker is known for with contemporary notes of citrus and aromatic almonds.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with vanilla, caramel and a touch of smoke. On the palate it is very smooth, with black fruit such as cherry, creamy vanilla, malted cereal and almonds. The finish is lasting, with dark chocolate, citrus peel and very light smoke.
