Jura 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura Distillery, on the island of Jura off Scotland's west coast. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and is not chill-filtered.
The nose combines sweet vanilla and caramel with ripe apple, citrus and a subtle smoky note. The palate is warm, with vanilla and caramel, cinnamon and ginger, and a well-balanced touch of smoke. The finish is medium in length, with sweet and spicy notes that give way to a little bitterness, oak and light smoke, leaving a warm, dry impression.
