Kamiki Intense Wood Blended Malt Whisky

Kamiki Intense Wood is a Japanese blended malt, made from malt whiskies from around the world together with Japanese malt whisky. It is blended with Japanese water and finished in cedar wood casks. The cedar finish is the signature of the Kamiki brand, and this expression spends a longer time in those casks than the regular Kamiki blended malt, which gives it a more intense flavour. The brand takes its name from a Japanese phrase meaning 'Breath of the Gods'. The nose is delicate, with citrus, apple, raisin and plum. On the palate come toasted wood and a soft but firm smokiness, and the finish shows the long cedar maturation.
