This Kavalan single cask was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024 as part of the 15th Anniversary series. It matured for 15 years in an Oloroso sherry cask and is bottled at cask strength, 57.1%, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered, and its colour comes from the cask alone.
The sherry cask brings dark fruit, intense spice and firm oak. There is no smoke, and the whisky is smooth and elegant on the palate.
