Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish is a Taiwanese single malt first matured in bourbon casks, then finished in port casks of the Ruby, Tawny and Vintage kinds.
The port finish adds a further layer of complexity to a whisky that has already gained depth and maturity in Taiwan's tropical climate.
The nose is tropical and fruity, with honey, vanilla, coconut and caramel. The palate is rich with tropical fruit, wild blackberry, honey and candy floss, giving a natural sweetness.
