Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak is a Taiwanese single malt whisky bottled at 46% ABV. It is made by taking Kavalan's Solist Oloroso Sherry and reducing it with Kavalan spring water to that strength, which makes it an easier dram than the cask-strength original.
The whisky is clean yet complex, with several layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spice. Touches of marzipan and vanilla sit alongside them.
