Kavalan Sherry Oak Matured is a single malt from the Taiwanese distillery that released its first whisky in 2008. Kavalan is known for a tropical-fruit style. The whisky is a deep mahogany colour. Tasting notes describe layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spice, with touches of marzipan and vanilla. The palate has a smooth, balanced natural sweetness with dried fruit and spice, and the finish is long and elegant.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
