Kavalan – Solist Port Cask

Kavalan Solist Port Cask is a Taiwanese whisky from the Kavalan distillery, matured in port wine casks. Taiwan's subtropical climate is said to give the whisky a quickly developing aromatic depth, while the port casks add fruity, sweet character. The nose brings red fruits, plums and cherries alongside chocolate and spice. The palate is velvety and sweet, with spice and toasted oak, and the finish is long and rich, fruity, woody and spicy.
