Kentucky Hand Barrel Small Batch Straight Bourbon (75cl, 52.5%)

This is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 105 proof (52.5%). It is aged in American white oak barrels with a #4 char and comes in a 750ml barrel shaped decanter finished in white marble with grey veining. The decanter has raised hoops and rivets and a black wax style cap. The colour is deep amber. The nose is vanilla and toasted oak with warming winter spice. The palate opens with ripe vanilla and caramel, then moves to cinnamon and clove. The finish is bold and warming, with a lingering sweetness.
